Turn YouTube Comments into a Fair Giveaway Draw
A YouTube comment picker is a tool that gathers the comments on a YouTube video or Short and draws one or more winners at random. Instead of pausing on every comment, exporting names into a spreadsheet, or generating a random number by hand, you paste the video link and the YouTube comment picker sorts through the entire thread for you, so a giveaway with ten entries or ten thousand ends with one clean, provable result your viewers can trust.
Viewers come back when they know a draw was honest. A random YouTube comment picker treats every eligible comment the same, whether it came from a channel with a million subscribers or a brand new account made last week. No early commenter gets an advantage, no long comment counts double, and the creator never has to explain why one name was chosen over another.

Why the YouTube Comment Picker Keeps Every Draw Fair
Every draw follows the same transparent process, so your audience can see the YouTube comment picker plays no favorites.
Equal Odds for Every Eligible Comment
Once your filters run, each remaining comment becomes one entry in a single pool. A random number generator picks from that pool, which means likes, subscriber counts, comment length, and the time a comment was posted have absolutely zero effect on who ends up winning the prize.
Your YouTube Channel Stays Private and Safe
Only comments that are already public on the video are read. You never sign in with Google, grant access to YouTube Studio, or share a password, so your channel, comments, uploads, and analytics remain completely private and nothing is ever posted for you.
Giveaway Ideas for a YouTube Comment Picker
A YouTube comment picker fits far more than one kind of contest. Creators celebrate subscriber milestones with gear giveaways, reviewers hand out the products they just tested, educators reward the best question under a tutorial, and gaming channels give away codes or in-game items to viewers who comment a keyword from the video.
Brands use the same approach for sponsored giveaways, where a clear and documented draw protects both the creator and the sponsor. Running regular contests through a dedicated comment picker also keeps your comment section active and gives loyal viewers a reason to return for every new upload. Comment Picker App makes each of those draws free, quick, and easy to explain to your audience, whether you have a hundred subscribers or a million.
Answers to Common YouTube Comment Picker Questions
A YouTube comment picker collects comments from a public YouTube video or Short, applies your entry rules, and selects random winners from the eligible comments. It replaces manual counting and spreadsheets with a fair, random draw that anyone can understand.
Yes. Shorts have their own comment section, and the comment picker reads it just like a standard video. Paste the Shorts link, apply the same filters, and draw winners from every eligible comment left under the Short.
Not automatically, since most viewers’ YouTube subscriptions are private. Ask the winner to make their subscriptions public or send a screenshot before you send out the prize.
Yes, if your rules allow it. Choose whether replies count as entries, or keep the draw to top-level comments so each viewer gets exactly one fair chance.
YouTube allows comment giveaways, but you must publish clear official rules, follow local laws, and state that YouTube is not a sponsor. Add the deadline and eligibility to your description.
